Review
The Merlion is a creature with a lion's head and a fish's body. It is the largest replica of the tourist icon, the original Merlion which is located at the Marina Bay. Built in 1996, it is 37m tall, which is about a 12-storey high building.
Enter the Merlion and hear the legend of how the Merlion and Singapore came to be through a short video - something that the young children enjoy.

Then, take the lift up to an equivalent of 10th storey and head for the Head Gallery where you'll be treated with a scenic view of the nearby islands and the Singapore skyline.
Also visit the Mouth Gallery Viewing Deck for the novelty of being "in the lion's mouth" and where you'll find a lovely view of downtown Singapore.
