Review
First invented by New Zealander, Troy Griffin, in 1995, G-MAX Reverse Bungy is as its name suggests - bungy-jumping in the reverse way.
You're strapped in a 3-seater capsule and shot up into the air with the bungy cord up to 60 metres in height, speeds of 200 km per hour and a G force of 5! That’s similar to the G forces experienced by astronauts in a rocket launch. After springing up and down a few times, you'll finally come to a stop in mid-air and will be lowered down slowly till you reach ground again.
GX-5 Xtreme Swing is a new addition, opened only in Dec 2007. The 5-seater capsule is pulled to a near 90-degree angle to the ground - with the riders facing downwards - before it is released... like a giant swing. Freefalling and flying, you will reach up to speeds of 125 km per hour. This thrilling ride is currently only available in Singapore and New Zealand.
Please note that we write all our reviews from personal experiences while visiting places and attractions. However, since we are afraid of heights, we are writing the review of G-MAX and Xtreme Swing as spectators of friends and acquaintances. And this is not likely to change in the future =:)
