There's a wide variety of entertainment for families, young and old, ranging from theatre to live concerts to activities and night life.
If you enjoy activities that are gentle, try out the very affordable DHL Balloon ride near Bugis or the Sentosa Luge (a cross between go-cart and toboggan). For more invigorating experiences, there is cable skiing or wakeboarding at Ski360 at East Coast Lagoon or the G-MAX Reverse Bungy and the latest GX-5 Xtreme Swing at Clark Quay.
The Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay, with its multiple studios, theatre and concert hall, is a great place to catch local and international drama, musicals, dance performances and concerts. Other venues include The Victoria Theatre, Jubilee Hall at Raffles Hotel, The Substation, etc. Check out for the latest events at the various venues from the two main ticketing agents, Sistic or TicketCharge.
If you enjoy an evening out, night life in Singapore ranges from a drink at the pub, wine bar or club, to movies and late night dining or shopping. Popular night spots include the Quay clusters: Clark Quay, Boat Quay and Robertson Quay; Mohammed Sultan Road; and Orchard Road. For ardent shoppers, Mustafa Centre is open 24 hours.
Movies in Singapore start screening as late as 2 am or 3 am on Fridays and Saturdays. And if you get hungry after all that, late night supper can be found at Newton Food Centre, Glutton's Bay at the Esplanade Mall, Oscar's at Conrad Hotel or Chatterbox at Meritus Mandarin Hotel.
