Synopsis
Sentosa is full of attractions and activities. Some of the attractions we love to visit include the Underwater World and the Dolphin Lagoon; and the waterjet-and-laser show (Songs of the Sea). Our favourite activities include riding the Sentosa Luge and Skyride (it's like go-carting) and playing on the beaches.

It's a place where you can spend the whole day!

How much time you will need: half a day to a whole day.

What we thought of it: It's a great place for a day's outing for the whole family.

Review
Sentosa is an island with a significant historical background. It has since been transformed into a popular island resort and a major tourist attraction with lots to see and do. It is also the site of one of Singapore's two integrated resorts which is targetted for completion in 2010.
You can choose to spend the day at the beach relaxing and sun-tanning or join in a game of beach volley ball. Nature-lovers will be delighted with the nature walk through the secondary forest where long-tailed macaques (monkeys) and squirrels roam free. Visit the Underwater World and Dolphin Lagoon - you'll be totally amazed with the marine life on display and the endearing performances of the pink dolphins.
Sentosa's history is not forgotten. Walk around Fort Siloso and be absorbed into its past as a coastal gun battery. To complete the picture, visit the Images of Singapore for a multi-media experience of the history and culture of Singapore.
If you had enough of walking around, take a break and ride the Sentosa Luge and Skyride. An exhilarating experience - you'll certainly want to go a second time. Slow down with a ride on the Sky Tower and take in the breath-taking scenery at a height of 131 metres above sea level. On a good day, you will even be able to see parts of Malaysia and Indonesia.
